Kitten Kindergarten

Here at Sunrise Pet Clinic we offer your kitten a safe environment with which to socialize and become the best s/he can be as early as 8 weeks of age.

Why come to Kitten Kindy?

The window for optimum socialization is narrow for kittens. Feline social play peaks between 8-14 weeks of age. Proper socialization can result in a more successful home integration (for your existing kitten or for when he matures and you decide to add another cat to the household) and a more confident kitty!

Kitten Kindy is:

  • A safe place to run and play with comparable sized kittens
  • A positive experience for the whole family
  • A place you can ask questions about your kittens development, learn environmental enrichment tricks and litter box requirements or address specific problems and optimal healthcare.
  • Learn how to teach your kitten to come when called, to sit and even give a high five! Kittens can also be trained to walk on leash — a great alternative for cats that live indoors due to our desert wildlife.
  • One (1) hour long

Sunrise Pet Clinic Kitten Kindy class requires that each kitten have the following prior to attendance:

      — First FVRCP (upper respiratory) vaccine
      — Negative FeLV/FIV test
      — Negative fecal exam
      — General good health
      — Be between 8-14 weeks of age

Kitten Kindy is offered on Saturday mornings in the lobby of Sunrise Pet Clinic. The cost is $10 per kitten, per session. This fee is payable in cash or check to the instructor at the beginning of class.

If you are interested, please sign up with one of the receptionist so that we may plan our classes accordingly and to ensure that a class is scheduled for that particular day.
