Dr. Elizabeth Weintraub is a 1987 veterinary medicine graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. After beginning private practice in Valley Forge, PA, she moved to Tucson in 1990 with her husband and the first of their three children. She has been with Sunrise Pet Clinic as a part time associate since 1995.

In practice she enjoys preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, seeing pocket pets, and above all, client education. As a transplant from New England, Dr. Weintraub has developed a true appreciation for the desert and its wildlife. Both she and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, and mountain biking in many areas of the Southwest.

Home life is busy with three active kids and a dog for each. Hannah, 13, has a Standard Poodle named Cole. Max, 11, has an Irish Wolfhound mix with a very big head named Harvey. Nathan, 9, loves to take his little Cairn Terrier buddy, Santana, for walks.
